The owner of Birch Fabric, a wonderful store right up the street from us, asked me to make a cake to match some of her fabric that she designed. It turned out super cute, and I just love the pictures that they sent me!

Two Little Birds Bakery is doing great in its new location! Thank you for all of your support, and for taking the time to find us! We did over 100 pies for Thanksgiving, and have been as busy as ever with cakes and wedding cakes.
I wanted to post a picture of the cake from the wedding this weekend, but only have a low quality picture at this point (I promise to upload a nicer version soon!) The wedding was at the Paso Robles Inn and was absolutely beautiful. The bride and groom wanted a simple vanilla cake with raspberry creamcheese filling, vanilla buttercream, and a chocolate swirl pattern around the outside. With the flowers done by Flowers By Kim (www.flowersbykim.com), the cake turned out absolutely stunning!

It is finally time!
The bakery has made it a year and I have decided it is time to share all of our wonderful creations, and adventures with the rest of the world! The business has become more and more cake based, and I have had the opportunity (along side Taryn) to create some beautiful creations! I will do my best to keep you all posted with each days cakes that we have created! I will start by playing catchup… Let me know what you think!
I absolutely love the idea of having a cupcake wedding. Not only is it the new trendy way to do your wedding cake, but it is also a much cheaper way to go…and….who doesn’t love a cupcake!
We have also had the chance to do many traditional style cakes as well….
